The Liberal Media
By Ed
Wednesday, January 31, 2007
Ed here,
How liberal is the media these days? How liberal has the media ever been? These are questions that really have me wondering. At work today I had the pleasure of listening to a moron spout off about how the media is causing the country to turn against the OCCUPATION in Iraq. He (the moron) tried to say it was a war, but when W. landed on the aircraft carrier, he told us that we won. So I have to assume we won the war. We're in so many wars these days, I can't figure out which war I should worry about.
The War on Drugs.
Now there's a war. The Republican machine coined the term War on Drugs. The liberal media (if there is one) had nothing to do with creating that war. I agree that meth and drugs in that category should have war declared on the people that deal and use those types of drugs. Users should be given one chance to redeem themselves, but I say throw away the key on habitual violators. Now we are down to that evil weed. The liberal media makes a big deal about some poor 62 year old grandmother selling weed to support her bingo habit. Yep, the old lady got 3 years for selling pot to support her bingo habit. You must remember that if people are smoking pot, most of them don't drink as much. If they aren't drinking as much, Budweiser, Miller and the likes can't make as much money. How often do you hear about a stoned driver killing someone on the road? I can't remember the last time I did. I just watched the news, and a drunk driver just got 5 years for killing a family. So much for the war on drugs. By the way, we are losing this war.
The War on Terror.
Now we are talking war. By the way, the Republicans coined that one too. W says the war on terror is top priority. I agree with that, but since I wasn't an average student at Yale (you can bet if he wasn't GHW's kid he would have failed out) I could never make decisions like he does. The so called liberal media has done everything they possibly could to make this sorry piece of shit look good, but they can't even make it happen.
The War on Gawd
Huckabee; you know who he is. The Republican from Arkansas has thrown his hat into the ring for the Republican nomination for president. This fuckin hay-seed actually thinks the religious-right is going to have a say in '08. He wants to bring the country back to Christ. The religious-right is a good part of the reason they got their asses kicked in '06. Does anyone remember that moron in Colorado? You know the anti-gay preacher that got off on male prostitutes. This country needs a president named Huckabee like we need another one named Bush. How about the Republican congressman in Florida? You know the one that likes pages so much. I'm sure that before he got caught, he was all for Gawd. The so-called liberal media only broke the story (according to people like Hannity) because it was election time. There is no way it could have been because the fuckin asshole was a pedophile. How about the sorry pieces of shit that tried to cover it up just so they could hold a seat in the house? Money and power are way more important than people to these sorry ass-holes.
Now to all you hay-seed, stupid-assed, minimum-wage makin', country-fucks that think the Republicans are on your side. If you'd have made it past the 8th grade, you would know that just because someone says something, it doesn't mean it's true. I'm sure a lot of you have heard; "Get off dad, you're crushin' my cigarettes".
Opinions are like ass-holes, I just showed you mine. Ed

Bush Compared To Abe Lincoln
By Ed
Wednesday, January 17, 2007
Ed here,
I'm hearing a lot of talk from Hannity and the likes about Bush being a lot like Abe Lincoln. I have a hard time comprehending this, but here are the similarities I see.
Bush is a Republican, and Abe was a Republican. Bush is an adult male, and Abe was an adult male ..................................................... Hold on, I'm thinking .......................................................... Nope, that's all I've got.
If Hannity and the boys have to stoop to trying to compare Bush to Abe Lincoln, the Republicans are in far worse trouble than I thought.
Now the important part; I am in dire need of some advice. Would someone please help me with the dilemma that is consuming my every waking minute?
I realize this has nothing to do with politics, but I've been suspecting for some time that my wife has been cheating on me. The thought of this is driving me crazy. I realize that my problem is not yours, but hopefully someone can tell me what to do in this situation. Maybe one of you have been there. If the phone rings and she answers, she always talks for a while. When the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up. She's been going out with the girls at work at least twice a week. When I ask her who she was with, she tells me it wasn't anyone I would know. Problem with that is, I know most everyone she works with, and since she won't drink and drive, she always has them drop her off. They never drop her off in front of the house, it's always down the street and around the corner. The other day I picked up her cell-phone just to see what time it was, and she went off. She was livid. Why was I messing with her property, she had the nerve to accuse me of messing around on her. In my 50 years of life, one thing I have learned is that the person that accuses another of cheating is usually the one that is cheating. Now I'm really suspecting her of messing around. To tell you the truth, I really don't want to know that she is, but I had to find out. A couple nights ago she was going out with her friends again so I decided I had to find out for sure who was dropping her off. I pulled my Harley out to the south side of the garage and hid behind it. I had a good view of the street and the corner. During the time I was hiding behind my Harley, I noticed I had a small oil leak coming from my head gasket. My dilemma is; Is this something that I can fix myself, or should I take the bike to a qualified mechanic?
If you compare Bush to Abe Lincoln, you're wayyyyy more fucked than me. ED

Dennis Prager - Right-wing Radio Spook
By Ed
Thursday, January 11, 2007
Ed here,
Sorry I wasn't around last week, but I've been in mourning since we lost the Great James Brown. Since his passing I've decided that I can no longer have him dancing for you anymore. The God-father is resting in peace.
Ok, Dennis Prager is a right-wing radio talk show host that feels it was wrong for Congressman Keith Ellison to take his oath of office with his hand on The Qaran. I for one agree with him, but for entirely different reasons than he does. If the spook was the mental giant that he thinks he is, he would know that when freshman congressmen are sworn in, there is no Bible, Qaran or any other religious paraphernalia present. The spook would know that congress is sworn in just as the military is sworn in. The actual swearing in is done in a private setting. When they swear in for you and me, they have already been sworn in. The public setting is all for show. The spook wouldn't know about being sworn in to the military because he's just another of a line of right-wing radio spooks that didn't have the balls to serve his country.
The spook would know about the First Amendment:Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Either the spook has never seen the Constitution, or he just disagrees with the Constitution. If the latter is true, why would all of you so-called Republican patriots listen to this moron?
So if a Congressman chooses to use the Qaran for a fake ceremony, who am I to argue with that? Truth be known, when he was sworn in, his hand wasn't on anything.
The spook feels that breastfeeding is over-rated, and the mother shouldn't be allowed to breastfeed her child if her husband is turned off by it. Where the fuck did this idiot come from?
The spook backs George W. Bush, but says that the Governments of Western Europe and Canada are "suffering from a broken moral compass," charging that the dominance of secular leftist thought in those countries has rendered their societies morally confused and corrupt. We have the most confused and corrupt Executive Branch of Government this country has ever seen. By the way, England is in the same boat we are.
I feel sorry for the Jewish people because this fucking moron calls himself one. Too bad he didn't grow up in Israel, because there he would have at least had to serve his country.
Opinions are like ass-holes, I just showed you mine. Ed
By the way, I'm the one with a mustache.
