Not long back, the people of this country actually believed that sticks and stones may break their bones but words will never hurt them. Alas, that is no more! Nowadays, the people of this country can't handle a discouraging word if were spoken in sign language! The flap over Obama's "bitter" comment is beyond ridiculous. It is borderline psychotic. Are people so fragile that they have to run to Dr. Phil whenever someone uses a fucking adjective anymore? If one were to look at recent events, they would have to say yes. The fact of the matter is that people bruise too easily these days and we have become a nation of namby-pamby limp wristed panty waists and if that characterization hurts your feelings, oh well! Write Dear Abby because she might give a fuck! We, as a people, had better grow the fuck up and quit worrying about someone's bad choice of words and start worrying about when the defecation is going to hit the rotary oscillator again. Now I know in the world of politics, you grab whatever you can to hit your opponent over the head with during a campaign but Jesus Christ, can we just stick to the fucking issues? To be frank, I could give a rat's ass whether the people living in small town Pennsylvania are offended because they were described as being bitter. What in the hell does that have to do with the occupation and the economy? Now we could try to blame this on the librul media. But the fact of the matter is that they are just giving people what they want. As political junkies, we are conscious of the issues but most Americans are not and they only begin paying attention when it comes time for an election. The rest of the time they are politically retarded as Jethro on Quaaludes and the last thing they want to hear about is the socio-economic impact of the derivative from prehistoric zooplankton under anoxic conditions until it tops $3.25 a gallon. (For any freepers out there, that's just another way of saying oil. Just take your time, sound out the words and then Big Bird will help you with the letter of the day.) The point is that we need to get away from being offended anytime someone makes a remark that doesn't fit into "our" brand of discourse. 	I totally agree this was blown way out of proportion. A radio program I normally agree with tried to explain it as occurring because the campaign had gone on too long and therefore the candidates are making mistakes. No, the candidates are not making mistakes. His statement was true. People are bitter and frightened, but instead of giving the country courage, this administration has pushed guns and religion as our only answers. 	It's sad to say it but the PC crowd is the "heart and soul" of liberalism in the U.S. and they've made it a label to avoid. Nobodys just a fuck up, they have "issues", and the next person that mentions "self esteem" to me is going to the moon, without the need of expensive rockets. There's a difference between this panty wasted "liberal" and the nervy ones call themselves "progressives". Yea, their progressing themselves to frightened babys that expect someone else, anybody else, even the government to do their thinking and worrying for them. Because they might think they're dumb fucks and get upset they don't even flunk kids in school anymore and then cry about the sorry state of a bunch of dumb fucks making bad choices.
