When The Hammer Falls

I have never been what you call a religious man but I thank God for the gift that was bestowed upon the American people yesterday and I could not have been any happier than when I heard that Hot-Tub Tom Delay had been indicted for conspiracy. Like a puppy with three peckers and a nearby pants leg, I barked with glee over the fact that this fascist pig was finally going to have to present himself to the bar of justice. The fact that this fuck isn't sitting in a maximum security pound-you-in-the-ass prison already is enough to boggle my mind but one must take pleasure where and when he can get it.

In the last few months the American people have begun to wake up from the Kool-Aid induced coma in which they have existed for the last five years and now the truth about the Republican Party is being told. They now are seeing that this country is being lead by a group of criminals that have no regard for anything that even closely resembles American ideals. Their only concern is how to increase their own wealth and power and there no law that they are not willing to break in order to achieve their goals.

For the last couple of years all we heard from the right wing was how we needed to get activist judges off of the bench and we now know why. It wasn't because they wanted the courts to reflect conservative values but because there are so many leaders of the Republican Party under investigation that they want a judge that will put politics above the law and protect their asses from going to jail. And what in the fuck is up with the Republicans who love to trash trial lawyers just for practicing their craft. After all they go running to their lawyers faster than Ann Coulter runs to her next estrogen treatment.

I now know why the Republicans are so afraid of gay marriage and it isn't because they want to protect the sanctity of the union. It is because when they are sitting in their cells on D Block they don't want to worry over whether or not Bubba is going to sell them for a pack of Newports. I cannot help but want to cheer knowing that sometime in the future Tom Delay is going to be anally raped in a far worse fashion than the American people have been since he has been in power.

If you have any spare change I recommend that you buy stock in the American timber industry because when Delay's team of lawyers begin filing their pre-trial briefs those shares will pay a dividend that is unprecedented in recent history. It is extremely rare for any judge to throw out a grand jury indictment so Delay and his defense team will no doubt begin to try getting the evidence thrown out and that will ensure that this will remain in the news for months to come.
This indictment could not have come at a better time for the future of this country and I only hope that the American people do not forget what they are seeing in the news today. This administration is the most corrupt group of individuals that this nation has ever had to put up with and it is high time that the defecation thrown at the rotary oscillator has begun to stick.
