"The walls between old allies on either side of the Atlantic cannot stand," Obama said, speaking not far from where the Berlin Wall once divided the city. "The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes, natives and immigrants, Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand," he said. ..... Police spokesman Bernhard Schodrowski said the speech drew more than 200,000 people, more than double the estimated 75,000 he drew in Oregon this spring. He drew loud applause when he talked of a world without nuclear weapons and again when he called for steps to counter climate change. Change Large crowd! They're waving the American flag! 	I bet when he says "a world without nuclear weapons" he's not counting our 10,000 plus among them. Maybe in his heart he'd like to cut the defence budget the sane 70 or 80% it needs to be cut...but he won't do it. Because he, not just he, "conventional wisdom" demands a 'strong defence' even from so called Democrats who actually want to burn our money and souls with our dominating by bomb tonnage national character. As a nation of cowards who exactly are you so afraid of that you feel better with a dozen or so 'Carrier battle groups' zipping around showing all we have to show, guns and bombs and the implicit warning that there's two ways to see everything, our way and the wrong way. You'll hear no talk of really treating Americas mental disorder about neurotic and endless fear, he'll use it to control us the same as every pathetic excuse for a 'leader' has, Republican and Democrat alike. How, exactly has maintaining a military budget that is more than the rest of the world combined 'protected' you? That's what everyone talks about, 'protection' of our freedoms, Superbowl Sundays and other vital stuff, so someone who suffers this madness can explain it to me. When we should have had a Constitutional Convention (1976) they actually told us we were too stupid for such an undertaking and be afraid, very afraid of the havoc a good review and update, as instructed, would create....crop failure, global warming/cooling (tailored to your area), deadly virus' and I forget all of it, but it was our biggest moment as mediocre cowards. The beloved 'Founders' argued just about the Bill of Rights for 3 or 4 years and yet they frightened us right into the cattleshute to single file us to our demise over the idea of taking the time to review the true "State of the Nation", even if it took 10, 15 or even 20 years. The much beloved "founders" would puke on their weird shoes if they saw what we let slip through our fingers. In fact lined up and insisted they do it.
