And the smear starts now!

Unfortunately this S.O.B serves the district in which I was born and raised. I cannot fathom how people with whom I grew up with keep sending this F*CK back to Washington every election.
Rep. King defends comments about Obama Iowa Rep. King defends views on Obama, terrorists, despite McCain rebuke
An Iowa Republican congressman on Monday defended his prediction that terrorists would celebrate if Democrat Barack Obama were elected president, despite a rebuke from aides to John McCain, the GOP's apparent presidential nominee.
"(Obama will) certainly be viewed as a savior for them," Rep. Steve King told The Associated Press. "That's why you will see them supporting him, encouraging him."
King said his offices have been bombarded with calls _ positive and negative _ since he said Friday that al-Qaida "would be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11 because they would declare victory in this war on terror."
King cited Obama's pledge to pull U.S. troops from Iraq, his father's Muslim roots in Kenya and his middle name, Hussein, which King said has a meaning to terrorists.

"Unfortunately this S.O.B serves the district in which I was born and raised. I cannot fathom how people with whom I grew up with keep sending this F*CK back to Washington every election."
The reasons are simple:
1. In 2002, Congressman Greg Ganske tried to make a grab for Tom Harkin's Senate seat. Local news was obsessed with this high-profile race, and the Iowa Democratic Party made Harkin's re-election a Top Priority.
2. Harkin won (by a landslide), but in the media vacuum and the IDP's lack of attention, Steve King slipped in and took over Ganske's old Congressional seat.
3. If the Iowa Democratic Party would find someone strong enough (or at least well known), King would have his clock cleaned. Unfortunately, every election since then has been "Steve King (R) Vs. Unknown Pissant (D)".

I predict politcians, especially Repiglicans, will scream fear fear be afraid be afraid till the end of time. Bush said no one has attacked the US when he stole the election. There is proof he stole the election. Where's the proof that because of him the turrist didn't strike again? Prove a negative?

And you'll most likely be proved right, because that's all they have to work with is induced and predictibly false fear. None of them even come close to talking about or finding, or even giving a shit if they find any real solutions to the mountain of chickens coming home to roost. They, Republicans and Democrats both sold those chickens and all they can offer is shrill bullshit about which one of them are responsible, when they're both responsible. And also responsible for making sure they're our only choices. "The lesser of two evils", and they call that a choice. They'll make sure they're OK, but you and me? Fuck us. That's exactly what they think of us. Fear, with a stupidity chaser gives them all they apparently need to continue to "lead" us and the country down the tubes.
