Help Rep. Wexler put it back on the table
posted by Wally

Rep. Robert Wexler is taking on the Bush administration - in cyberspace.

The Florida Democrat has launched a Web site - wexlerwantshearings.com - and is gathering signatures calling for impeachment hearings against Vice President Dick Cheney.

"Our constitution mandates that the House of Representatives hold presidents and vice presidents accountable when they commit high crimes," Wexler says in a video on the site, which suggests, among other things, that Cheney manipulated intelligence to boost the case for war against Iraq and was involved in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame.

Wexler, a veteran member of the House Judiciary Committee, hopes to deliver the signatures to the committee in January when Congress returns to Washington.

Why in the hell are these guys imitating Kuccinich instead of supporting him? Of course the current Administration should be impeached and jailed for treason and myriad other crimes (war crimes too), but why not support the Kuccinich bill instead of creating a new one?

That's a good question. I imagine each of them wants to be able to take the credit. It's more about how you look than what you do. Which is really, really sad.

The Constitution says "high crimes and misdemeanors" and if you take that literally I can't think of a single president in my life that shouldn't have been impeached. Many should have been tried for treason and shot. I'm NOT picking on Democrats here, but Lyndon Johnson (aside from our current group of criminals) is the one that really burns me, and nobody seems to know about it. A U.S. Naval vessel was under attack and two Carriers launched fighters to aid them, and Johnson ordered the planes BACK TO THE CARRIERS!! Why? They were being attacked by Israeli warplanes. Lifeboats were being machine gunned in the water and that bastard called off their rescuers. Why? Because he and the Israelis wanted the boat sunk and the entire crew dead. I know this is about Bush and a deserved firing squad but we all need to understand that 'our' government has not been ours for a long long time. Sorry for bringing up the past but until you understand it how can you understand the present? The Mexicans have a particularly novel technique of waterboarding that I think we should bring North just for the Bush administration, pretty much the whole lot of em, from Lesbo Condi to that fag Bolton. They take a bottle of soda, shake the hell out of it and stick it up your nose while your head is lower than your body. I'd pay anything to see that on pay per view! Monkey boy would be squirting from both ends and Dicks pacemaker would short out in a most dramatic way. But of course the so called Democrats would take that one off the table so fast you'd need a high speed camera just to catch it. Waterboard Nancy and Reid first and then line the rest of the phony "Democrats" right along with the Neos. Really, what the fucks the difference between em?
