Gee, isn't that what the Constitution mandates?

Lawmaker wants stronger say in declaring war
Rep. William Delahunt says it's high time to start thinking about the next war.
Even as Congress wrestles with attempts to bring home U.S. troops from Iraq, the Massachusetts Democrat is teaming up with some Republican colleagues on legislation to give Congress a stronger say in when the country should go to war.
Delahunt recently joined Republican Reps. Walter Jones of North Carolina, Wayne Gilchrest of Maryland and 2008 presidential candidate Ron Paul of Texas on a measure that would limit the president's ability to go to war without Congress' approval.
The resolution would prohibit the president from ordering military action without congressional approval unless the U.S. or its troops were attacked, or if U.S. citizens abroad need to be protected or evacuated.

Oh isn't this great. Not only are 'our' legislators a bunch of incompetent boobs, they are illiterate too! How the fuck can they 'defend' the Constitution if they don't even know what it says? And this outlook about getting ready for the 'next war', like that's a given, shows just how far off track this bunch of bozos are. And if they're bozos, what does that make us? Double bozos? Stupid fucks? I want Vlad the Impaler for President, and if old Vlad's not available, I've read all his books and know the basic moves. There's a lot of impaling waiting for someone to do it and I volunteer.

I have an idea, put impeachment back on the table. That'll slow the warmongering down a bit.

Impeachment and criminal charges. They should not be able to have a license to kill. Our damned Democrats are so afraid of upsetting the applecart, hell thats what most Americans want, look at the polls. Upset the cart, jail the criminals and lets open the shades and let some light shine in. I'm sick of it and so is everyone else.
