Who's idea was this?

There's something about the Rockettes kicking their legs for the legless troops at Walter Reed that just seems awkward. No?

It may look awkward to some, but I go to the VA three days a week for physical therapy. I'm a paraplegic. We may be missing limbs or unable to use them, but we still like girls, and there would be a line of wheelchairs to get this picture taken. John Sallee san Diego

Thank you John for your service and sacrifice, and for your insight. We rag on the war and the leadership (what there is of it), but we praise and respect the men and women on the ground (or air or sea) doing their duty for our country. In fact, we rag on the war and the lack of leadership "because" of our respect for the troops.
We certainly don't mean to make light of the matter, or in any way to disrespect our service-members or veterans in any way. And there's no doubt that any one of us would be in that line of wheelchairs as well if we were in that situation.
We apologize if we blew it. No offense intended.
Kudos to the Rockettes for stopping in to cheer up the troops. And to everyone else who does so.
Again, thank you John, and thanks to all service members and veterans.
