In favor of universal healthcare and gays in the military, against "spreading democracy". Crazy liberals? Nope - Republican voters

A large nationwide poll of Republican voters shows that an increasing number consider themselves conservative, that about half favor universal healthcare and allowing gays in the military, and that the vast majority say spreading democracy shouldn't be the United States' top foreign policy goal.
Fifty-one percent of the GOPers said universal healthcare coverage should be a right of every American, and 49 percent favored allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military.
Nearly four in five Republicans said that U.S. foreign policy should be based on protecting economic and national security interests, versus 16 percent who preferred basing it on spreading democracy. All this leads to the obvious question: Why the hell are they voting Republican? Oh yeah. They watch FucksNooze, so have no idea what's actually going on in the world - particularly the world of politics.

I gotta be careful here...but the elite ruling class loves the verbal warfare between "liberals" and "conservatives", but if you can drop the name calling, polls have consistantly shown a couple of things. Americans, in general and without the classifications our elite ruling class loves to foster are generally fiscally conservative and socially liberal. That goes for ALL Americans. Let's drop the 20 some % of dittoheads and idiots of all stripes for a minute. Until Clinton (not a liberal) drove a decades long majority away with NAFTA, GATT and a whole list of issues right off of Newts 'contract with America', there wasn't this hate centered political climate like we have today. 8 years of Arkansas white trash rule followed by 8 more of Texas Nazi lover retard pirate rule has damaged and split this country like never before. True conservatives are bailing out of the Republican party like Democrats are threating to if Billary somehow gets the nomination. It's a holy fucking mess, and expect no help whatsoever from those we've foolishly given our trust to, be you a conservative or a liberal. The "Patriot Act" is here to stay, no matter who gets elected in 08. That should give you the message loud and clear. If you strip away the rhetoric and listen to what both sides are saying, to me at least they're basically saying the same exact fucking thing. Each 'party' is just couching it in language designed to lull their 'constituants' into following them down the same tube, and the hell with the country, the Constitution and "The People". Different brands of the same snake oil, packaged to appeal to whatever demographic it's targeted for, the ingredients stipulated by the corporate paymasters that own them all. Three years into a 'Democratic' administration and we'll still be in Iraq (notice how NOBODY even talks about our criminal occupation of Afganastan anymore?) I don't know how the hell we're going to fix all this shit, but we'll be getting no help at all from Washington. The few lonely voices of honest men and women there are being burried by both parties. I have no answers but the picture is so very clear to me and I'm scared shitless.

So am I NPA. And I don't scare easy. I say impeach the whole bunch of them and pick random schmucks off the street to replace them. All three branches. They couldn't do a whole lot worse than the fuckers in there now. Most of them at least would know right from wrong and that the v.p. is part of the executive branch.
